Tammy recently performed live at CMA Fest in Nashville. She sang her original songs and shared the story behind her upcoming single, ‘Man That I’d Wanna Be’ with the audience.

The song, written for and about her Daddy, J.B. Smith Jr., is a tribute that she wanted to write for her Daddy to keep his name and legacy remembered forever.

Written with affection about his every day life, his hobbies, loves and how she viewed him as his daughter.

J.B. was a man known by everyone he knew as a man who would, ‘give you the shirt off of his back.’
He left this world loved by so many and the goal of the song is to keep that memory alive always.
